Canadian folk metal warriors Scythia are proud to present their epic and adventurous music video for their song ‘Spirit of the Quest’ from their sophomore album, …Of Exile, which was released to great praise in 2011.
“Scythia is pleased to finally reveal Spirit of the Quest. This video has been a long time in the making as we’ve made several attempts to capture our excitement and enthusiasm as well as the story on the album with an indie budget. Filming and editing it was an extremely fun and humorous process, we worked with James Weekes and Rosie Anson of Hammer Records to capture the footage. They were both great at capturing wicked content and amping us up to get into character.” says vocalist / guitarist Dave Khan.

AUROCH Announce Release Date For Debut Album ‘From Forgotten Worlds’
Spawned from Vancouver’s underground back in 2008, Lovecraftian death metal trio Auroch whom are currently on their ‘Canadian Abomination Tour‘ are on a mission to give Canadian extreme metal traditions the respect they deserve, bringing them to the countless maniacs always anticipating the next epic death metal assault.
Following a number of smaller releases, Auroch will finally be unleashing its first full-length album ‘From Forgotten Worlds’ on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 and is available for pre-order on the bands bandcamp at the following link.

Showcasing the band’s metamorphoses from thrash metal band into a full-fledged death metal assault, the debut full-length album is raw, relentless and tapping into a musical current of the wrath of Lovecraft’s Ancient Ones. Any and all who question or condemn modern conventions should sympathize with the ideologies and mythos provided. Fans of barbaric blasting and technical shredding should associate with the musicality.
