Working in studio and adding new bassist Bruno Goyer aka GOYY to their line-up, Montreal brass metallers Fallstaf have unleashed their latest music video and new single “Miller’s Crossing”at the following link below:
The new single follows last year’s debut album “Bastard Sons of A Pure Breed”, which features 11 tracks of fury; self-produced by Fallstaf, and mixed and mastered by Kevin Jardine (Slaves on Dope) of Uplift Studios and was the follow up their 2009 EP “The Hitman Plays Trombone”. Blending aggressive trombone with heavy rock, thrash and hardcore influences, Fallstaf are excited to unleash a new sound to the metal family tree, which was born out of their other more soften music collective North East Bistro.

Hiring a hit man can sometimes to be seen as a means to an end, but not for Montreal, QC metallers Fallstaf. With their aggressive tendencies and energetic approach to lay it all out in the mosh pit, these brawlers realized that hiring a hit man with a trombone is the means to fuel the fire and only the beginning of what has become.
Forming their own new genre dubbed “Brass Metal”, out of their other more soften music collective North East Bistro. Fallstaf is the angry brother who has melange the trombone assassinations of the hit man with their brand of aggressive / heavy hitting metal that ranges in influences from heavy rock, thrash and hardcore. Expressing their darkest moments from their corner of the world with a creative metal soundscape, Fallstaf is set to release their debut full length “Bastard Sons of a Pure Breed” on October 25, 2011 and add a new sound to the metal family tree.

No good could possibly come out of the frigid Northern lands of Alberta, you say? Well, sorry to tell you, there’s an exception to every rule. Enter smoldering power-thrash five-piece Edge of Attack.
Combining haunting vocals, shredding guitars, complex bass lines, furious drumming and choral and symphonic arrangements with surprising depth, Edge of Attack has not only taken the metal scene by storm, but also by surprise. Having been featured in Revolver magazine, you’d think the band has surely been around for years, but truth be told, they’ve accomplished all this while releasing no more than two singles.
Representing the changes that have taken place and the reinvention of Edge of Attack’s sound, the self-titled album, which was produced by guitarist/vocalist Jurekk Whipple himself and is soon to be released with Spread the Metal Records, is, simply put, a reawakening and rebirthing of power metal with thrash creeping its way into the picture.

Mme Linda Banks (Coordinatrice de l’événement, Spécialiste avec vieillissement de la population) a approché la Société Alzheimer de Montréal sur une base volontaire pour préposer cet événement.
Cette soirée se déroulera samedi le 8 décembre prochain entre 19h00 et 21h00 au centre d’achat Les Cours du Mont-Royal (entrée rue Peel et Ste-Catherine Ouest, Montréal – 3e étage (METRO PEEL)) et sera animée par MICHELLE AYOUB (H.M.M.A.C., Dungeon Works Productions) et accompagné par SULE, (chanteur, compositeur).
Cette œuvre aidera à “assurer la durabilité du programme d’activités“ – Reginald Godin (coordonnateur, développement financier et du bénévolat)en plus de bénéficier la Société d’Alzheimer de Montréal directement. 100% des dons et profits des billets seront versés directement à la Société.
Tous travaillent sur une base volontaire pour la journée.
Places limitées à 100 personnes.
Le coût des billets est $50. Des bénévoles seront sur place (dans le Centre d’achat) pour recueillir vos dons.
