You have been instrumental in giving our artists exposure through interviews, reviews, radio play and then some! Thank you for also being so welcoming to Cara Ashbey, the Asher Media Intern, and hope you enjoy the music from these bands, that we’ve had the pleasure to work with over this past year.” comments Jon Asher, music publicist and founder of Asher Media Relations.

Vancouver, BC based metal band TRIBUNE have announced a local show date on December 20th at the Astoria Pub (769 East Hastings) presented by Nothing Is Heavy. The band is performing in promotion of their latest author inspired concept album ‘Tales’ released in October via their indie label Corpse Corrosion Music.
In additional news, Tribune unleashed a new lyric video for ‘Insectoid’ at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlzvVO3jywg
Vocalist Bryan Baker comments:
“This album has been inspired entirely by literature, it features a wide array of influences, from Homer to Mary Shelley to H.P. Lovecraft, and continues Tribune’s trend of becoming simultaneously more melodic and more brutally heavy on each album! ‘Tales’ is a re-imagining of what progressive death metal can be, and the members of Tribune believe it to be their finest effort yet.”
This follow-up to 2011’s Elder Lore/The Dark Arts, demonstrates TRIBUNE’s brawn and brains with a collusion of extremity and accessibility. As the band’s appetite for more extreme metal such as bands like Carcass, Death and At The Gates bleeds into their melting pot of influences, it has resulted in a fresh take on their fine metal sound.
