The artwork relies on the visual contrast between white industrial stencil-style fonts and a textured background, subtly decorated with geometric folk motifs. This design captures the essence of the song, reflecting the fusion between traditional gypsy folk themes and a powerful modern metal sound.
About the single (LYRICALLY & MUSICALLY):
When we first listened to the Besh o droM version of the song, we immediately felt its incredible energy and the potential to transform it into a rock/metal song. The result is a high-energy track at 194 BPM that blends virtuosic performances on traditional instruments with the raw power of metal. Featuring 16 musicians on the recording, the single offers an intense and festive sound experience. Lyrically, Büntető (The Punisher) is inspired by traditional Hungarian folk themes, telling a vivid story rooted in village life, relationships, and emotions.
Over their 30 years, Dirty Shirt has become one of Eastern Europe’s most original and successful rock/metal bands, known for their explosive fusion of modern heavy music with the vibrant energy of Eastern European traditional sounds.
