After the resounding success of Decimate Metalfest 2024, the team behind one of Western Canada’s most beloved metal gatherings is thrilled to announce the official dates for Decimate Metalfest 2025! Mark your calendars for June 13 & 14, 2025, when the Millet Agriplex in Millet, AB (approx 40 kilometres south of Edmonton) will once again come alive with bone-crushing performances, unforgettable memories, and the camaraderie that defines this annual metal family reunion.
As we set our sights on 2025, performer submissions are now officially open for all types of performers! Decimate Metalfest continues to support a diverse array of talent, and we invite bands, DJs, drag performers, comedians, youth acts, magicians, and more to be part of this electrifying two-day festival. Whether you’re a veteran of the stage or making your performance debut, Decimate Metalfest offers a platform to showcase your unique artistry. Our goal is to push the boundaries of entertainment, creating a space where all forms of metal, artistry, and performance can shine.
We encourage youth bands, solo performers, and experimental acts of all kinds to apply. If you’ve got the energy, the talent, and the passion, we want you to join the 2025 lineup and make this the most unforgettable year yet!

What to Expect in 2025:
- A killer lineup of performance artists representing multiple genres of music, various forms of art, art, and an array of alternative performers both local and international.
- A family-friendly, all-ages atmosphere, with activities for everyone, from air guitar contests to drag performances and more.
- The much-loved Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning, to fuel the metal masses!
- Vendor booths, artist merchandise, and plenty of local food and drinks.
Submissions & Ticket Info: Bands interested in performing at Decimate Metalfest 2025 can submit their applications via the official website. Attendees, keep an eye out for ticket releases in Spring of 2025, with early-bird pricing and flexible payment plans available.
2024 FESTIVAL RECAP
The 2024 edition received overwhelmingly positive feedback from all participants—bands, fans, volunteers, sponsors, and the Town of Millet itself. With zero incidents, pristine campsites, and an attendance of over 200 festival-goers, including first-time attendees and our beloved “Deci-Minis,” this year’s event solidified Decimate Metalfest’s reputation for fostering an inclusive, safe, and community-oriented environment.
The festival boasted 34 incredible acts, including artists from across Canada and the U.S., and was powered by the stellar production teams of Prairie Fire Productions and 387 Entertainment.
The team behind Decimate Metalfest would like to extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make 2024 a smashing success: performers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and the Town of Millet. Together, we’re building something truly special in the heart of Alberta, and we can’t wait to see you all again in June 2025!
