Rockshots Records: Out Now! KANSEIL Acoustic EP “Cant Del Corlo”

Following their highly acclaimed sophomore album “Fulìsche”, Italian folk metallers KANSEIL are excited to release their first acoustic EP “Cant Del Corlo” (translation ‘Chant of The Spinning Wheel’) out now as of February 7th via Rockshots Records. The record is a concept release inspired by the four seasons, a perennial cycle that escapes human control. The spinning wheel (‘Corlo’) becomes the eternal wheel that makes us mortal. Four epic songs with extra atmospheric intro and outro to allow the listener to dive into the mood of the seasons, becoming inevitably part of the endless flow of time.

Even if the acoustic mood has always been pervading KANSEIL’s creations, they wanted to try a new adventure by releasing a record without any electric instruments.

The band states:

“With ‘Cant del Corlo’ we wanted to dare further, to try and work with a genre that is not really ours, but that in some way has always belonged to us. The acoustic dimension is the most natural and introspective, a cause for reflection. Rockshots Records demonstrated to be a very important partner, a real family founded on skills and helpfulness. We are sure that even in this case their help will bring more value to our production.”

The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered by Luigi Stefanini at New Sin Studio, produced by KANSEIL. The artwork was created by Manuel Scapinello and Giulia Scapinello.

“Cant Del Corlo” is available on Rockshots Records‘ official store HERE, Spotify, Apple Music.

Montreal, QC – February 6, 2020

For fans of Fates Warning, Metal Church, Testament, Stratovarius, Iced Earth

LOST LEGACY Share First Single ‘Front Line’ Off Upcoming Album “In The Name of Freedom”

Out March 20th via Pure Steel Records

New York power metallers LOST LEGACY will be releasing their new album “In The Name of Freedom” on March 20, 2020 via Pure Steel Records. Featuring forty-six minutes of pure metal, the sophomore release is a concept album serving as an act II to their debut full length, which was inspired by the tragedy of 9/11.

The band explains:

“The concept of ‘In The Name of Freedom’ is our way to thank our men and women of the armed forces for their sacrifice. It’s not about glorifying war, but these gallant people give so much and are often forgotten.”

The first single, ‘Front Line’, is a melodic track that has a heavy breakdown rhythm section prior to a soaring guitar solo. Dave Franco’s vocals are like a cannon and make this song a headbanger for everyone.

Watch the video for ‘Front Line’ via its premiere on Metal-Rules.com HERE.

LOST LEGACY has been around since 1998 and their dedication to their craft shows. Having four excellent musicians and a vocalist that can play guitar and write riffs makes for a plethora of ideas. With Franco’s vocal capacity and range, it has transformed them to write music that enhances his vocal performances and gives the band the freedom to play intellectual metal.

LOST LEGACY discusses their expectations of the album:

“We believe that this album is a genuine representation of how we sound in a live setting. We take great pride in putting on a great show and when we approached this record, we wanted to have a live band feeling. Our fans will be pleased with the songs, the sound, and the production. The music has catchy guitar-driven riffs and soaring vocals. We promise it will deliver great energy and inspiration to fans of classic power metal.”

For fans of  Fates Warning, Metal Church, and Testament, LOST LEGACY is classic power metal with a modern edge.

“NY’s Lost Legacy Has Been Turning Out the Metal for Over Ten Years. A Killer Six Piece Band Who Know Their Instruments And How To Use Them. Raw Power And Pure Talent Is What You Get.” – Mike The Big Cheese, Heavy Metal Mayhem

“Lost Legacy a metal band out of Bronx NY, that formed in 1998 The latest album “”The Aftermath” came out in 2009 which was a tribute to those who lost their lives in 9/11. Some of the songs are Towers, Time Will Heal, Light The Candles, their music is packed with energy, catchy riffs and powerful vocals. A tour de Force.” – Robin Souls, Metal Messiah Radio

“It has been my pleasure to work with the band members of Lost Legacy. I found them on social media back in 2008 and was immediately drawn in by the timbre of David Franco’s voice, the guitar riffs are executed in their presentation, and the bass and drums finish off this bands talent by providing a solid foundation for metal madness at its best! Their original music content is well written and has a powerful impact, as in one of their songs Towers. Their music will engulf you and take you on a journey, one that no one would easily forget. The metal world needs to move over and make room for Lost Legacy.” Syria, Producer, and former DJ on Renegade Radio

Just remember, these guys are a fairly new band and things can only get better, and longer from here.”
