‘Impervious’ sees Mason as a tightly wound thrash act. Tons of solos erupt from the twin-guitar attack, built to precision with one of the best production jobs I’ve heard in a long time. Vocally it is clean and aggressive with tracks that stimulate effective chorus sections. Mason is a cleverly defined, precise thrash metal band that rivals underground sensations like Game Over and Havok.
