a solid slice of stoner doom rock. With vocals similar to Ozzy Osbourne era Black Sabbath particularly on the track, The Pioneer, fans of the brummy metal titans will certainly dig this band. The riffs are thick and heavy though tuneful and the production suits the music well. There is plenty of melody on offer and fans of Pallbearer and their like should definitely check Howling Giant out.
