The title track really sums up Woodhawk’s strengths. It comes across as a synthesis of Mastodon (circa Crack The Skye) and Kyuss circa their spacey, proggy Welcome To Sky Valley. I just love this track; everything is just right, a really catchy song with a very modern mid-section.

Idioteq EP Premiere Edmonton Hardcore Metal Fusion FEEDING
New Video ‘Rotting Alive’
Debut Self-Titled EP Out April 28 via Funeral Trance Records
Formed in 2016, FEEDING was created in the wake of local Edmonton hardcore outfits Cold Lungs and Low Level disbanding. With members from each band still seeking auditory destruction, a five-song EP was rendered. It will be presented as an offering on spools of magnetic tape on April 28, 2017, through Funeral Trance Records. The debut was recorded in Feeding’s sanctum: Piss Alley by Derek Orthner (Begrime Exemious) and mastered by Brad Boatright of Audio Siege. The cassettes will bear Jason Barnett’s conception of crawling toward death. FEEDING plans on touring as far as possible to spread their brand of occult death rock, and already have plans for future releases.

KARKAOS‘s first single and music video “Kolossòs” is now streaming at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pScb6OmjcQURecorded, mastered and mixed with Christian Donaldson and Marc-o Frechette at The Grid (The Agonist, Cryptopsy, Neuraxis, Beyond Creation) and Silverwings Studios for keyboards (Blackguard, Ex-Deo , Distoriam), “Children of The Void” features collaborations with guest artists Lindsay Schoolcraft from Cradle of Filth and Morgan Lander from Kittie. The artwork was made by the immensely talented Marcela Bolívar while the layout was done by Fred Riverin from I Legion.
