Release Date: TBA
For fans of Queens Of The Stone Age, Monster Magnet, RATM, Red Hot Chilli Peppers

Bandcamp | iTunes | Amazon | CD Baby
“Known for their genre-bending sound, which mixes metal, hip-hop, and spoken word, among others. The four-piece is revered for their live theatrical performances, consistently captivating audiences on tours across North America.” – Van City Buzz
“Lucid After Life is more than a music band, its part spiritual revival, part theatre, part music festival that can’t be classified as one genre, their broad sound covers rap, heavy metal, spoken word, with a touch of hip-hop vibe. It really is like going to a music festival and hearing a collaboration of genres; there’s something for everybody.” – Live2RocknRoll

Lucid After Life consists of:
Guitars: Diego Avila
Bass: Kyle Arellano
Drums: Matthew Shearlaw
Lead Vocals: Nathaniel Jack

Vancouver progressive groove rockers Lucid AfterLife are challenging musical composition with each song that they have been writing since 2012. Their name is more of a destination than a title for vocalist Nat Jack who hopes to inspire fans to be as unbridled as their music. The collective vision for the band is driven by Nat at the forefront, guitarist Thom Turner (Freya), Miles Morrsion on Bass, and Matthew Shearlaw on drums. Lucid AfterLife have had a chance to open for Ill Nino, Bobaflex, Moka Only, and ONYX.
The band’s diversity allows them to explore all creative avenues and continue to be a flexible band that could be hailed for their hip-hop sensibilities and rock dynamics in one review. Instrumentally they draw on their myriad of influences including David Bowie, Monster Magnet, Wu-Tang Clan, Led Zeppelin, and finally A Perfect Circle. ‘Meltdown’ was an EP for the band where their individual personalities began to fuse and create a sound that represented the band as an entity. In 2015 they release their first full-length ‘I AM’ proclaiming their solidified sound and identity as Lucid AfterLife.
Their next EP ‘Occult Mafia Mistress’ is a collection of songs that lyrically conjure out a certain aspect of Jack’s psyche, a part he is learning to respect and accept. It represents the part of humanity that remains hidden and needs to be drawn out from an internal dialogue that fans can have with each song. The writing process begins to take shape in the lyrics which touch on indulgence and encouraging everyone to enjoy all pleasurable aspects of life. ‘Occult Mafia Mistress’ will be available online at Spotify and iTunes. Release date to be determined.

Doom metal is predicated upon dark atmosphere, and there may not be any better at establishing that in contemporary metal than Vow of Thorns. All the details meticulously arranged, it has a painful density that smothers and paralyzes.

Canadian psychedelic rockers A DEVIL’S DIN will be touring the UK this September in support of their latest album ‘Skylight’ released this past June via Island Dive Records to follow their 2011 debut album ‘One Day All This Will Be Yours’. The tour will kick off in London on September 10th and end with a special family reunion as A Devil’s Din’s David Lines (originally from the UK) will share the stage with his brother’s band The Electric Zoltz on September 23rd in London.
Full Album Stream of ‘Skylight’ can be heard at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaLTUpQjGzQ

Sept 14 – Pitcher & Piano – Brighton, UK
A DEVIL’S DIN is made up of 3 musicians born in the Old World who traveled across the ocean to find each other in Montreal, QC where they were drawn together by a mutual love of melodic, innovative, inventive and daring rock / metal tinged music. Fusing the colourful sounds of Syd Barrett’s Pink Floyd & the psychedelic-era Beatles with intensity of classic power bands like Sabbath, The Who, and Led Zeppelin, as well as the boundary-pushing adventure of Yes, Gentle Giant and King Crimson, A DEVIL’S DIN is an uncommon and uncompromising voice in modern music.
Vocalist / guitarist David Lines comments on their album ‘Skylight’:
“Essentially this album is really a tribute to the psychedelic experience. I drew on my own personal involvement with certain consciousness-expanding substances to create a set of songs that would take the listener on a journey, both lyrically and musically. Within these 9 songs there exists a certain contrast between the hallucinatory and the heavy. Obviously we also owe a lot of this album’s influence to another era, not just by sound and texture, but by the spirit of adventure, daring and experimentation that was prevalent then and bring all of that to the world today, right now.”
Bassist Tom G. Stout also adds “Even though we are inspired by LSD trips, we still like to hit hard, and enjoy getting a little aggressive. You have to balance out the light with the darkness, because otherwise you’re not being real.”

About:
A Devil’s Din is made up of 3 musicians born in the Old World who traveled across the ocean to find each other in Montreal, drawn together by a mutual love of melodic, innovative, inventive and daring rock music.
In 2008, UK-born stalwart Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist and session musician David Lines decided he needed to form a musical outfit that would suit his own particular psychedelically-induced musical visions, and thus A Devil’s Din was born. While still working as a musical “gun-for-hire” around town, he continued to develop the songs and sound for A Devil’s Din–which he considers an Art Project not to be tainted by commercial desires–recording their first album One Day All This Will Be Yours between 2009 and 2010, and releasing it on his own label Island Dive Records in 2011.
Though the musicians on that record were excellent, it wasn’t until Lyonnais bassist and disciple of the Holy Trinity of Rickenbacker Bass (John Entwistle, Chris Squire and Geddy Lee) Thomas Chollet entered the picture, along with drummer Dom Salameh (whose being born in Abu Dhabi did not at all prevent him from becoming an ardent Keith Moon devotee) that the sound really began to take shape. The synergy of the three took the music to another level, as witnessed at their intense and energetic live shows and has been made manifest on the new A Devil’s Din album SKYLIGHT that is set for release on June 17th, 2016.
A Devil’s Din continues to travel further afield in the world of psychedelic and progressive rock music, transforming listeners’ minds where ever they go.
Their first European tour will take place in September and their albums are available through various retailers on line and through their website www.ADevilsDin.com.

BIO:
The Apex formed in August of 2013.
They are a collective of individuals from the Ontario metal community, whom over the years have come together from past bands such as, Closed Casket Funeral, Dismata, Blood Shot Eye, The Coalition Design, and Corprophemia to form The Apex.
In a true culmination of talent, dedication, and timing, this group has created a unique hometown sound that is now being called “Windsor Ghetto Tech”. The brutal sonic assault of their music coupled with the emotional reckless abandonment of their live performance, have drawn stanch comparisons to Meshuggah and classic Dillinger Escape Plan rounded out with a distinctly Canadian flair. To add influence, vocalist Darren M. suffers from Neurogenic Stammering, which effects his speech where the brain won’t tell the mouth what to say so he’s unable to carry on a normal conversation, but for some reason he’s able to scream all the lyrics live and that is how he gets to express himself vocally with the band.
In July, 2014 they entered Shark Tank Productions studio in Windsor, Ontario to begin recording their debut self-titled full length album, “The Apex”. They hired engineer Nick Kinnish of Serafina Productions (Johnny Truent, Architects, and more) to aid them in capturing their sound accurately. In November, 2014 they completed their recording and announced the independent release date of February 21st, 2015. In 2016, the band entered Empire Recording Studios to record their next release, the EP ‘Underbelly’ set to be unleashed in August.
TOUR EXPERIENCE
This band is no stranger to hitting the pavement to support the music they love to make. In their 15+ years of experience creating music in previous bands, they’ve been support on tour for bands like: Cephalic Carnage, All Shall Perish, Despised Icon, Cryptopsy, Today Is The Day, Killitorous, Erimha and Ion Dissonance to name a few. In previous bands they’ve also shared the stage on festivals with bands like: SOD, Venom, Obituary, Cradle Of Filth, Earth Crisis, God Forbid, Skinless, Beneath The Massacre and more to crowds up to 7500+ in North America.
As their current lineup “The Apex”, they have already invested in a mid-sized tour bus and have began to book many shows and festivals across Canada for 2016.
