Brutal Western Canadian death band XUL whom are in studio recording their follow up EP to their debut album ‘Malignance’, which available for FREE DOWNLOAD here. (http://xulmetal.bandcamp.com/album/malignance) are proud to reveal to fans their new logo.

“We knew at some point during our time together that we would end up changing our logo. This is the third time our logo has changed, but this time, we believe it will be permanent. Bill Ferguson our guitarist created the other two using graph paper, so we decided to get the new logo done professionally. It coincides with our growth not only as musicians, but as a group, as we have spent a lot of time together over the past four years. Artist Chris Horst did an excellent job and we think it turned out awesome. It keeps the theme of our old logo but brings some new complimentary elements together as well. This will make for a somewhat simple transition from old logo, to new. This is a new chapter in our musical journey and to document it, we felt this was the best decision, we hope everyone digs it!” comments vocalist Levi Meyers.

If you’re a fan of Behemoth, Dissection and Immortal this is one album not to be missed as the band forges their brand of Blackened Death Metal.

About:

Upon being assembled in 2003 by founding members Martin Samson and Stef Jomphe in Gatineau, Insurrection has been growing, modulating and mutating into a machine of an aural onslaught. Assaulting witnesses in both languages of French and English, Insurrection has blended its calculated technicality to create a signature mixture of merciless death metal that has emerged from the prominent Canadian scene.

Shortly after their 2009 debut release ‘Prologue’, giving true life to their monstrosity, the formation launched their second release 2010’s Fracture’, a dark prophecy of unforgivable times and a brutal soundtrack to the fall of man. It pushed the limits with every outing, creating Insurrection to become more than the sum of its parts, but a merciless abomination.

Now the band is gearing up for their follow up ‘Prototype’ to push yet another brutal assault and tour cities across Canada to convert the unwitting to their legion.

Cranked. Heavy. Melodic. These are just some of the words that have been used to describe Toronto’s BREACHED. Creating an alluring blend of melodious, metal-tinged rock ‘n roll, it didn’t take long for Breached to start winning over fans with their live shows and 2011’s five-song self titled EP. The band’s tight harmonies and nail-hitting screams combined with overdriven guitars, intricate tempos and powerful lyrics provide a unique blend that audiences can’t seem to get enough of. To satisfy that appetite Breached have recently released their follow up acoustic EP titled ‘Revolution Sessions’ that features five unplugged tracks, four originals from their debut EP along with a cover of Alice In Chains song ‘No Excuses’.

In support of the acoustic release, the rockers have unleashed a second music video ‘Happy?’ to follow their first video ‘Time’, which can be viewed at the following links below.
