Featuring a new arsenal that includes founder Robert Kukla on rhythm guitar, bass and vocals, Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork, ex-Devin Townsend Project ex-Aborted) on drums, Myles Malloy on lead guitar and programmer Connor Ort Linning, Calgary, AB’s ARBITRATOR unleash their debut album ‘Indoctrination of Sacrilege’ out now as of February 13th and available on iTunes, Bandcamp, Amazon and CD Baby.
“‘Indoctrination of Sacrilege’ is the by-product of nearly four years of my life. It is a collection of the investments, time, influences, and inspirations within those four years. Although I feel like I have outgrown myself, the album still stands as a testament of my passion for the art. It’s everything I wanted it to be, and I look forward to hearing what the friends and fans of Arbitrator have to say about it. I can guarantee that the album falls nothing short of genuine.” comments band founder Robert Kukla.
The album is produced by Sacha Laskow (ex-Divinity, Every Hour Kills)plus mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy)along with album artwork done by Colin Marks (Exodus, Scar Symmetry, Jeff Loomis). ARBITRATOR is a project that began in late 2010 as the brainchild of Robert Kukla and officially debut in 2011 with the release “The Consummate Ascendancy” with former drummer Corey Chernesky.

“Indoctrination of Sacrilege is full of juicy riffs, and will easily quench any death metal fan’s thirst. It’s well written, catchy, and rewarding to revisit over time.” – Metal Made In Canada
“..a promising effort that sets the bar fairly high…melodic death metal that at times – and perhaps not surprisingly – echoes Soilwork at their feistiest, the grandiosity of Septicflesh or old Nocturnus and the blasphemous fury of Behemoth, with the blackened edges to boot. “Epic” is the word that perhaps best describes Sacrilege, as most of its six tracks are monsters… ” – Metal Rules
“These well crafted songs have an infectious groove to them, these riffs are punishing, the drums are precise and effective, the vocals are raw and full of anger and the soaring keyboards life the songs to new heights; they give the album a grandiose feel, full of ominous presence.” – Devils Gate Media
“With hard hitting, kick in the teeth death metal, Arbitrator gives a solid beat down full of hatred and ear-busting brutality in their song Stillborn Bastard of the Nazarene.” – The Indie Authority
“”The consummate ascendancy” is a fucken impressive first step and I wish the guy all the fucken best with his future endeavors. The talent is there, and obviously – so is the will.” – Global Domination
“…it quickly becomes clear that Arbitrator is more than just another death metal band. These guys are not afraid to put some experiments into their music and they still know via these two long, rather unusual songs how to make a decent impression.” – Lords of Metal
“Honestly, I’d love to hear more of this, so let’s hope Arbitrator can latch onto a label, fill out their line-up, and get working on a full-length follow-up to this very promising debut EP.” – Sea of Tranquility
