Growing in popularity on the West coast metal scene and the release of their new music video ‘Live Evil’ last week, Calgary, AB’s Throne of Vengeance is proud to announce a second Vancouver date for June 6th at Media Club to join their June 7th date on Funky Winkerbeans plus a performance on June 4th at the Calgary Metal Fest (http://calgarymetalfest.com) for the FREE festival launch party show at the Ship & Anchor Pub.

About: Bridging the gap between metal and rock with help from dual guitar harmonies, pounding drum lines and wide-ranging vocal harmonies, Calgary’s Throne of Vengeance released their EP ‘Live Evil’ on October 19, 2013 that echoes the band’s signature thrash-tinged rock.

“‘Live Evil’ is “a collection of songs based on our experiences in the last two years, covering everything from a close friend’s imprisonment for a victim-less crime to the realization of humanity’s demise to the contrast between good and evil and life and death,” says drummer Trevor Cobb.

“If there’s anything we would like people to take away from the record, it’s that you should be your own person, do what makes you happy, be aware of your world and be real. We have the power to control our own destiny. Together, we are more powerful than any world leader.”

Following ‘Pi Nature’, Ninjaspy has toured across Canada on multiple occasions including touring Japan in 2010 (watch video here) winning over legions of fans along the way. About:

Ninjaspy arose with the dawn of the year of six, embodied by the Triad in Blood: Vocalist/Guitarist Joel Parent, Drummer Adam Parent and Bassist Tim Parent. Rising above the mire of their faceless six year muse, they have focused their sights on the mission objectives now at hand: Swift, surgical amalgamation of a spectrum of styles and the subsequent eradication of narrow mindedness. Ottawa, ON video game rock nerds Double Experience are proud to announce they will be performing at this year’s Canadian Music Week on May 10th in Toronto, ON as part of their Ontario show dates for their ‘Rated M For MaTOUR’.

“We’re excited to take in everything CMW has to offer, considering it’s our first time being a part of the festival. Our goal is to make as many friends as our livers will allow and generally just confirm the stories we’ve heard so much about this festival as emerging Canadian musicians.” comments guitarist Brock Tinsley.

Successfully performing 500+ shows and collecting over 100,000 miles during their multiple tours across Canada, the UK, and once in the States, Double Experience offers a no-frills, no prisoners, no holds-barred live show that has music nerds wanting more.

The band’s upcoming album, ‘721835′ was recorded by fellow science-fiction aficionado Al Jacob (He is Legend, A Skylit Drive) in North Carolina and is a curious collection of songs that demand to be heard. Inspired by everything the band loves and considers nerdy, this release showcases a creative sound influenced by geeky comic books, trading cards, classic 8 bits games to today’s future 3D experiences.

Their 2011 debut album, ‘One Big Quicksand’ was recorded and produced by up-and-comer Jayson DeZuzio (Coheed and Cambria, My Chemical Romance) and was released via Blue Sapphire/Universal Music Canada.
