Since their inception in 2010, LATF has combined elements of metal, hard rock, and prog to create an unmistakable sound. Debuting their six song EP ‘One Night Only’ in 2011, they return in 2014 with their latest offering ‘Dethrone The Crown’, their first full length produced by Greg Dawson and mastered by Andy VanDette (Rush, Dream Theater, Kid Rock, Deep Purple, Bruce Dickinson, Bif Naked).

“Live Evil is the title track from our 2013 EP. The song is a testament to karma involved in our everyday lives, with every action there are equal and unavoidable reactions. The video sheds light on Tommy (our lead singer)’s day as he goes about his business. He is faced with two choices and the resulting consequences are brought to life. TRIBUNE Post Tour Recap From ‘CANADA SLAYS TOUR’

Wrapping up their ‘CANADA SLAYS TOUR’ that saw TRIBUNE complete their second cross country tour from Vancouver, BC to Montreal, QC and back West in promotion of their latest album ‘Tales’, an author inspired concept album released October 2013 via their indie label Corpse Corrosion Music. Guitarist Terry Anderson has posted a blog recapping the tour and thanking fans and friends for all the support plus details on the band looking for pictures from the tour and their upcoming future plans.

It’s been about 12 days since Tribune got back from tour and we’re still adjusting back to our normal lives. Folk Metallers Scythia Release “…Of War” Today!! As Pay What You Want Album

Vancouver folk metallers Scythia release their debut album “…Of War” today, October 5th, and in celebration of the release they want you the fans to “Pay What You Want” for the digital and physical album when purchased online via the following link – http://scythia.bandcamp.com.

Blending epic storytelling with modern progressive metal to create an interesting dynamic that includes an oboe of death and classical violin. Scythia’s ancient and medieval influenced melodies will bring the past back to the present as they ready to brandish their swords and prepare for tour in support of their upcoming release “…Of War” produced by Shaun Thingvold who has engineered on projects with SYL, Fear Factory, Darkest Hour and many more.

Formed in late 2008, Scythia is not your older brother’s metal band. Taking its name from vocalist/guitarist Dave Khan’s infatuation with a painting of Nordic/Russian warriors riding bears while brandishing swords, Scythia not only “gives the painting musical significance,” but it is also “the name of an ancient empire spanning from the Caucasus through Russia, and even into eastern Scandinavia.
