Rising from the depths of the frozen wastelands of Northern Canada, Fort McMurray, AB melodic metal band Until Dawn have teamed up with LoudGuitars.com to premiere their guitar playthrough video for ‘This Fallen Fortress’ .

The band released their sophomore album ‘Horizon’ in August 2013, building on their previous success with their self-titled debut released in early 2011. Mixing the sound of modern metal and classic rock, brothers Luke and Deke Worrell, with Adam MacLeod and Steve White have created a sound appealing to both young and old alike.
2013 once again saw the band pushing hard with touring in their home province plus local praise from their hometown station Rock 97.9 FM naming them #4 on the Top 20 Metal/ Hard Rock Albums released last year. Now in 2014, Until Dawn are setting new plans to tour and bring their music to larger audiences in Canada and around the world, having already performed at past festivals in Alberta and sharing the stage with such as acts as rock legends KISS, Volbeat, Billy Talent, A Day To Remember, Hell Yeah, 3 Inches of Blood, Striker, All Else Fails and Fozzy.

Toronto, ON based metal band WHERE GIANTS ONCE STOOD have posted a new guitar playthrough video for the title track from their debut EP ‘The Changing’, a “seven-track rip-and-kerrang assault” that debut at no.2 on the iTunes metal charts, which is still winning critical praise with its ability to fuse scorching guitar work, “assaultive underbeats” plus “drill-sergeant vocals” with earworm choruses and modern electronic breaks.
In additional news, the band is proud to announce their endorsement with Ernie Ball, which they can be seen using in the video.

With further tours planned for 2014, Where Giants Once Stood have their sights set firmly on the future. The band has entered the studio with a clear sense of identity and purpose with producer Jon Howard (Threat Signal) set to take their sound to the next level.
