On the road and trekking across Canada in promotion of their recently released EP #Punk#Zombie#RocknRoll, Vancouver’s Kill Matilda vocalist/guitarist Dusty Exner has posted a new tour blog on the band’s adventures from Kamloops, BC to Hinton, AB titled ‘My Bully Died, I Caught a Cold, We Almost Lost Our Gear’.

KM’s six song EP/ re-release ‘#Punk#Zombie#RocknRoll‘ was released on March 4th and features tracks from their 2011 full-length album ‘I Want Revenge’ with an acoustic rendition of ‘Geisha With A Switchblade’ and is accompanied by a comic book created by vocalist/guitarist Dusty Exner that can be downloaded at http://killmatilda.com/.
After a small hiatus due to health issues from a tumor in a carotid artery and an Ectopic pregnancy, Kill Matilda hasn’t let the odds against them stop them from an ass-kicking mission to Punk, Zombie and Rock n’ Roll across Canada.

Also in the plans for later this year, the band will be releasing their yet to be titled follow up EP produced by producer extraordinaire Garth Richardson.

Although this man has produced so many amazing albums and we’re not the only band getting some attention and love, he took the extra steps to personally engineer our new album, which is something he has not done in like, 10 years or something. Last year’s first ever Wacken Metal Battle Canada was witness to Toronto, ON’s epic power/death metal band Crimson Shadows not only winning the 2013 Canadian final but conquering the international final in Wacken, Germany where they performed in front of thousands unknown to their behemoth sound of metal.
This year over 100 metal bands from across the country have been selected to compete.
