Versus The Nothing Open For Hinder August 22 In Yorkton, SK


Ripping up stages across Canada and the USA for their Cannon Ball tour, Vancouver’s anthem rockers Versus The Nothing are proud to announce an additional date at the end of their tour opening for multi-platinum recording hard rock band Hinder on August 22nd in Yorkton, SK at the Gallagher Center Curling Rink located at 455 Broadway St W.

The concert is presented on behalf of Indestructible Entertainment, Fox FM and Booster Juice with tickets available online at www.ticketscene.ca and at Booster Juice locations in Yorkton, SK with advanced pricing at $35 tax included.

In additional news, Versus The Nothing recently announced the release of their new “Black Gloves EP” for July 19th with the first single “Killer” available for free download at the following location – http://versusthenothing.bandcamp.com. The EP is the follow up to VTN’s very successful 2008 release “Let It All Come Down” that saw multiple commercial music placements and great reception from fans and industry.

“Black Gloves” was produced by Jay Evjen (Hot Hot Heat, Wide Mouth Mason) whom also mixed songs “River” and “Invisible Asylum” along with the single “Killer” and “Excuse Me” mixed by Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Hedley, Sam Roberts). In 2009 “Into You” was chosen for Tom Green’s movie released direct to video Shred or be Ridden, a major motion picture starring Tom Green. They have been featured in many industry magazine’s including No Cover and Point Magazine, winning rave reviews for both their album releases and live performances.

With 2 full albums and an EP release, the young band has toured Canada and the USA, stretching further out each time. The band took some time at home this spring to record a new release before heading out on tour again in support of the yet to be released album “Black Gloves”, Versus the Nothing’s hard work has been paying off with some high profile attention and winning them gigs sharing the stage with bands like Bison BC and The Stanfield’s.

Versus The Nothing – Cannon Ball Tour Strikes Toronto’s Velvet Underground & Horshoe Tavern

Vancouver’s melodic rock quintet Versus The Nothing whom are on the road for their cross Canada and USA Cannon Ball Tour presented by Rockstarweekly.com will be stopping in Toronto on June 10th at the Velvet Underground and on June 22nd at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern.

“We’re really looking forward to playing Toronto, it’s been awhile since out last tour that saw us mostly hit west coast USA but it’s definitely good to be back playing in front of the crowds where we first started touring.” commented vocalist Ross Archibald.

The tour is in support of VTN’s upcoming EP Black Gloves set to be released later this summer and is the follow up to their 2008 full length “Let It All Come Down”.
