“A less balls out, more aggressive record than its predecessor, STRIKER delivers another impressive collection of high energy headbangers….Regardless of what your heavy metal predilections may be, STRIKER offers something for everyone. Super catchy tunes dripping with shred gymnastics and all around technical prowess, Striker deserves a place on any metal fan’s playlist….If you have not experienced Striker yet, this album is a worthy place to start and should appeal to a wide range of fans, particularly followers of the Priest, Anthrax and Maiden.

“The brand new album from Striker simply put kills it. Just as their previous albums the guitar work is amazing. The guitar work is what makes this album works on so many different levels and angles. Once again what I enjoy so much about Striker’s sound is the fact that they have such a heavy handed 80’s Metal element to their sound but there is also the updated and clean sound involved in each song as well. Dan Cleary on lead vocals adds such a impact to each song as well. Again the 80’s Metal sound is perfectly in his range as well, and the fact that he keeps his levels in check as well. Oh and the timing, The timing is just beautiful throughout the album between the vocals, guitars and drums. They create many of great headbanging scenarios throughout the album simply due to the timing especially with the drums.”

Striker, are back with their new self-titled album and for the fifth time they have delivered some serious riffage. It now seems entirely possibly these gentlemen possess some kind of mystical time machine, and are able to bring the old school stadium filling fire to the new generation of listeners.
