En Route To Heavy MTL Returns In 2014; Expands to Ottawa, Quebec City and Saguenay
Dungeonworks Productions and Evenko are back with a vengeance for 2014 with their third En route vers Heavy 2014 presented by Galaxie. Over the last two years, local Montreal bands have battled it out for winners such as 2013’s Of Temples and Death Lullaby, plus 2012’s winners Dark Century and Hollow to share the stage among some of the world’s top metal talents during Canada’s largest metal festival Heavy MTL.
New this year, the contest will expand to Quebec City, Ottawa, and Saguenay on top of its home town of Montreal. Thanks to their partner Galaxie, the two band finalists will each get a money prize of 1500$ on top of the opportunity to play on the Galaxie Stage at the Heavy MTL Festival at Parc Jean-Drapeau on August 9 and 10, 2014!
Bands who would like to participate can submit their candidacy now onhttp://www.heavymtl.com/playheavy/. The submission period ends on November 15th and the selected groups will be announced early December alongside information on semi-finals and the big finale!
