Without Mercy Announce Canadian Festival Dates
Vancouver’s female fronted death metal contingent, Without Mercy has announced they will be performing at the 2nd Annual Hell Mend Ya Festival in Prince George on Canada Day July1st, along with confirmed dates at Armstrong Open Air in Armstrong, BC and at this year’s Metal Mountain in Hinton, AB.
“As a band it’s always astounding to get the chance to play any kind of festival. The opportunity to share your material with a large audience or to even be a part of a wicked cause is nothing short of humbling. This year we have the honor of being invited back to play a festival that has a cause, which is really important to us and we even get the chance to play two of the biggest festivals around this summer! All in all it’s a very rewarding and humbling experience.” commented Without Mercy guitarist DJ Temple.
Without Mercy released their self-titled album in October 2009 with the first single “Chasm”, which is available for free download at this following location.
In addition to Without Mercy’s festival dates the band will be kicking off their Western Canadian tour in mid-summer with confirmed dates to be announced soon.

All Else Fails Open For Cancer Bats May 31st In Yorkton, SK
Edmonton based metalcore band, All Else Fails who are recently coming off an award nomination at the 2011 Edmonton Music Awards in the “Artist To Watch” category, will be opening for rising Canadian metallers Cancer Bats on May 31st in Yorkton, SK.
The Cancer Bats show will be another addition to AEF’s shared stage list for 2011 as they have also opened for bands such as 3 Inches of Blood, Fear Factory & City of Fire.
“This going to be an epic concert, we’re big Cancer Bats fans and sharing the stage with them has my hails horns up!” commented AEF vocalist/guitarist Barrett Klesko.
All Else Fails will also be gearing up for a mid summer tour kicking off at the beginning of July to promote their latest release “The Oracle, What Was, Is and Could Have Been” a follow up to their 2009 release “Against The Darkening The Sky”.

On the local circuit via their indie label Suicidal Bride Records, All Else Fails frequently shares the stage with some of Canada’s top touring indie acts such as Ninjaspy, Endast, Quartered, Stella, Dead Jesus, Fattooth, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Submerge the Sky, Without Mercy, and more.
AEF have several tours under their belt including a 2009 Cross Canada tour, western Canada in June of 2010, and coast to coast Canadian tour again in September of 2010 which saw them placed on not just one showcase at Indie Week in Toronto, but so impressing organizers of the event that they received an invitation to play a second showcase that week.
2011 is a year full of promise for the band with an aggressive plan to increase touring, building on the wave of new fans that were created on previous tours, as well as new recordings and a music video. All Else Fails will be reaching beyond borders this year, ready to set the world in flames!

Titans Eve‘s debut concept album “The Divine Equal” based on literary themes from John Milton’s 17th Century poem “Paradise Lost” and the Book of Genesis was self released last month on February 1st, 2011 and has been gaining momentum with a following from around the globe.

Titans Eve came together when brothers Brian (guitar/vocals) and Kyle Gamblin (guitar/backup vocals) decided to start their own musical project in 2008 after the departure of previous projects. The line up of Titans Eve was completed with the recruitment of Jesse Hord (bass) and Casey Ory (drums), from there the Vancouver-based band have set out to create honest, powerful modern metal and have repeatedly piled into the “Titan Train” (i.e. their 2007 Ford E-350 van) and traveled across Canada, bringing their music to as great an audience as possible. They’ve played over 80 shows in the past year and a half and 2011 will see them travel further than ever before as tour across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.
