Brass Metallers FALLSTAF Post New Music Video “Pull The Knife”

Montreal brass metallers Fallstaf have posted their latest music video “Pull The Knife”, in support of their debut album “Bastard Sons of A Pure Breed” that was self-released on October 25, 2011. The video was produced by 1oeilouvert and the live footage was taken from Fallstaf‘s concert w/ Slaves On Dope and Buffalo Theory in Beauharnois, QC last December.
“This is our second music video for “Bastard Sons of A Pure Breed”. The fans asked for more, so we’re giving them more! More BRASS METAL! Great work by 1oeilouvert‘s Rémi Joannette. Just like David Méliès, who did the first video “The Cost“, he’s part of what we call THE SOUTH WEST CREW. This is “Pull The Knife” and we are Montreal‘s own and unique BRASS METAL band!!” commented Fallstaf bassist Ben Forte.
About: Fallstaf released their full length album, “Bastard Sons Of A Pure Breed” on October 25, 2011, which features 11 tracks of fury; self-produced by Fallstaf, and mixed and mastered by Kevin Jardine (Slaves on Dope) of Uplift Studios and is the follow up their 2009 EP “The Hitman Plays Trombone”. Blending aggressive trombone with heavy rock, thrash and hardcore influences, Fallstaf are excited to unleash a new sound to the metal family tree, which was born out of their other more soften music collective North East Bistro.

About: Dubai may be known as a city rich in history, a business hub and the home of the tallest structure in the world, but it’s also the birthplace of one of the first death metal bands to come out of the Middle East.
Dubai is where, in the late 1990s, guitarist Alex Zubair and drummer Alan Madhavan came together to form Nephelium, guided by the sole vision of a band comprised of equal parts complexity and brutality.
Staying true to the roots of death metal, Nephelium was quick to forge ahead with experimentation, pulling in influences from metal and other genres.
With the hope of spreading Nephelium’s insidious gospel across the world, Zubair and Madhavan settled in Toronto, Canada where they completed the band’s lineup and immediately began playing shows and tearing up local stages, which quickly led to opening slots for metal heavyweights Skinless and Deicide.
Following a tumultuous journey spanning ten years, two continents and countless lineup changes, Nephelium is ready to once again give the death metal world a good shaking with the release of their debut album, Coils of Entropy.
The embodiment of Nephelium’s journey to striking the perfect balance between technical death metal, old school metal and Arabian melodies, Coils of Entropy is a six-track masterpiece set to breathe new life into today’s dwindling death metal landscape.
