Canadian Power Thrashers Sanktuary Premiere New Song ‘Fire In The Sky’ From Upcoming Album ‘Something Fierce’

Canadian power thrashers Sanktuary are premiering their first single ‘Fire In The Sky’ off their upcoming album ‘Something Fierce’ on MetalUnderground.com at the following location here.
The eight track thrash thrill debut will be released on Tuesday, July 2, 2013via Canadian metal label Spread The Metal Records.
Bassist Cole Hume comments:
“This journey has been quite the experience and we are incredibly stoked to unleash Something Fierce to the masses. So crack a cold one, strap on some clean undies and grab an umbrella ’cause this shit storm’s coming soon to a record store near you.”
Spawning from high school friendship and growing into something much more epic, Sanktuary kicked things off with two back-to-back EPs – 2009′s self-titled release and 2010′s Black Magic Brew – and soon followed that up with a massive move from Whitehorse, Yukon to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
After touring the country following their epic relocation and being faced with a major blow in Toronto that saw their van and nearly all their gear get stolen, Sanktuary turned things around with a third EP in 2011, Tundrastruck (a 3 way split with Black Moor and Metallian), followed by them signing to Spread the Metal Records, which sent them all the way back to Whitehorse to record ‘Something Fierce’.

True masters of music, ADE, formed in 2007, with the purpose of blending death metal with the traditional instruments of ancient Rome and Greece. The band released ‘Spartacus’ earlier this year on Blast Head Records as the follow up to their 2009 debut ‘Prooemivm Sangvine’. Wacken Metal Battle Canada is proud to announce that Dissension have moved forward from their qualifying round and will be performing in the Montreal semi final taking place on June 7th at Katcombes to battle for a spot in the national finals in Toronto on June 22nd at the Opera House.
The next qualifying rounds are scheduled for Wednesday, May 15th with Round 2 of qualifying in Montreal at Katcombes with Trainwreck Architect, Venomenon, Demise of The Crown, Fallstaf and Round 3 of qualifying in Toronto at the Hard Luck Bar with Warmachine, Mastery, The Unborn Dead, Cecile Monique, Laugh At The Fakes.

Breast Fest Biker Bash is an annual fundraiser at Winnebago County Fairgrounds in Pecatonica, IL organized by the Iron Skulls Motorcycle Association to raise funds for Save The Ta-Tas Foundation, which supports independent scientific research of Breast Cancer. Several bands will be performing over the three day festival along with vendors, tattoos by Sacred Art, free camping, best breast contests, pole dancing contests, tattoo contests, bike games, bike show and MMA fighting (only on the Friday).
