ALL ELSE FAILS Comments On Playing Loud As Hell Festival; Unleash New EP ‘Fucktroplis’; Music Video ‘Better Left Undead’ + FREE Download

(L-R) – Shane Tym – Drums | Barrett Klesko – Lead Vocals / Guitar | Seedy Mitchell – Bass/Backing Vocals | Mike Sands – Guitar (Photo Credit – Tyler J. Branston)

Unleashing their heaviest and most diverse composition ‘Fucktropolis’ last week on Suicidal Bride Records Edmonton, AB’s All Else Fails is proud to announce they will be performing at this year’s Loud As Hell Festival in Drumheller, AB alongside 3 Inches fo Blood, Into Eternity, Divinity, Until Dawn and many more on August 24th.

Vocalist / guitarist comments:

“The other boys and I are so excited to play at the Loud as Hell fest this year in Drumheller. The guys putting it on are doing an awesome job at supporting some really great indie bands, and we are honoured to be sharing the stage with all of them.”

Fucktropolis – Track Listing:

1. AntiMartyr

2. Better Left Undead

3. La Demencia Violenta

4. Obedience At The Altar of Sacrifice

5. A Most Unwanted Reprieve

All Else Fails is making a mark around the world for their aggressively dark brand of metal that is breaking the traditional ideals of their genre. Drawing comparisons to bands like As I Lay Dying, the band infuses their music with a variety of elements that includes experimental, Classical, synth lines, and spoken word sampling to accent a unique blend of heavy as hell screams and shiver inducing clean vocals.

A high energy live show that sets them apart from their peers has garnered them appearances on numerous high level festivals over the years, including Van’s Warped tour, Boonstock and opening spots for artists like Protest the Hero, Cancer Bats, Dayglo Abortions, 3 Inches of Blood, Fear Factory, Threat Signal, Decapitated, Suffocation, and Arise & Ruin.

The band’s last release received world wide praise from industry publications around the world. With the release of the band’s most recent music video “This Burden of Life” in the fall of 2012, and its addition to rotation on Canada’s Much Music, All Else Fails’ fan base expanded dramatically.

‘Fucktropolis’ can be purchased on Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon and most online retailers.

Music Video Director Doug Cook Releases His Latest Video ‘Orient B. / To A Place You Don’t Come Back’ For Canadian Post-Rockers Jung People

Jung People – Orient B. / To A Place You Don’t Come Back

Calgary music video director, Doug Cook releases his latest video ‘Orient B. / To A Place You Don’t Come Back’ for Canadian post-rock group, Jung People for their upcoming release ‘Gold Bristle’.

Descending from love to dissonance, this unorthodox music video was inspired from a short screenplay written by Doug Cook and Thomas Robert Lee. It features two tracks, Orient B. from Jung People’s 2011 album Tenderhooks and To A Place You Don’t Come Back from the upcoming album Gold Bristle.

The music video depicts the tormented relationship between a father and his son. It tells the story of a man living in anguish after his father’s decision to conduct genetic experiments on him as a newborn. Capturing their journey of regret, anger, forgiveness and faith, the video explores the delicate balance between nature and ethics while Jung People’s melody rolls in the background.

“This music video does more than promote Jung People’s new album, it’s a true collaboration of local filmmakers and the band,” said Cook. “It’s the extension of my concept to create a film-style music video based on a screenplay that Thomas and I wrote.”

“Jung People’s Bryan Buss and Jordan Bassi fully supported the themes and style I was exploring,” described Cook. “Their music reflected the tone and vibe of the short film. There’s nothing better than a band that trusts me to add a visual layer to their music ”

Cook also utilized the talent of Calgarian Filmmakers, Thomas Robert Lee and Hans Grossmann, who are currently developing a feature film, Empyrean, and Production Designer Bobby Vanonen. Bobby was nominated for an AMPIA award for his work on Burlesque Assassins and has worked on numerous music videos with Cook.

Jung People’s Gold Bristle album was produced by Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, Godspeed You! Black Emperor) and recorded at Thee Mighty Hotel2Tango studio in Montreal, Quebec.

One of the hottest flames to rise out of Montreal’s musical blaze, The In & Outs, a high voltage, electrifying experience are taking coincidence of their newly released album ‘Zero Gravity’ and acrobatics of their new music video ‘There We Go’ to a new level as they will be performing a flying high set for the grand opening of rock climbing center ‘Zéro Gravité’ on September 21st in Montreal, QC.

David Groover vocalist / guitarist comments:

“We’re very excited about this off the wall performance, literally! We will be flying in the air performing 3 songs at the grand opening of the ‘Zéro Gravité’ climbing center. The plan is to have two drums sets installed, one on the ground and one in the air on a floating platform along with myself playing guitar and singing with our bassist Alex. We will be floating and rocking out from up above from wall to wall. To get a bit of visual of what we’ll be doing live! Check out our music video ‘There We Go’.”

Expertly fusing rock riffs with cheeky lyrics and the occasional hint of funky blues only begins to underline the trio’s vast influences from diverse genres, ranging from Johnny Cash to The Doors, passing through Elvis Presley and John Spencer.

Lyrically eclectic and musically unrivalled each and every In & Outs song demonstrates a profound love of music and reflects the ups and downs of life and the essence of a society where creating your own opportunities leads to self-fulfilment, all of which is transmitted to their audiences through a hypnotic stream of sound and energy.

Landing a commercial placement in a 2011 Ford Focus televised ad in Quebec with their track ‘Steep Mountain’ (video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAoRDl-VM2g), along with their songs ‘Celebrate Consumption’ and ‘Boo My God’ used for Sports Network (RDS) show H2Snow (video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9WcXbQXYWQ), The In & Outs have progressed in the Montreal music scene and beyond, touring Europe in 2012 and performing at multiple festivals in support of last year’s self-titled EP and their debut album, ‘Ascending Back and Forth’.

‘Zero Gravity’ can now be purchased on iTunes and via http://theinnouts.bandcamp.com/ along with a FREE download of their single ‘There We Go’.

A huge thanks to everyone involved in the creation of this record and we can’t wait to see you on the road.”
