There is also an impressive and surprising degree of clarity to the vocal rasping vitriolic delivery, even on ‘Witch’s Lair’ which has that distant, recorded from another room sound, hugely atmospheric…The overall musicianship is sound and hopefully this is just the start of greater things to come from Grimtone.
