Metal Marks The Spot – Review: Sar Isatum – Shurpu

via Review: Sar Isatum – Shurpu

Taking a cue from the classic Norwegian black metal crowd, Sar Isatum is an intense explosion of black metal fury backed by a melodic symphonic, and slightly theatrical, atmosphere. It’s unrelenting on all fronts. While the intensity is unending, the songs are also well structured with infectious riffing that keeps your attention and easily worms into your gooey brain.

This album fucking kills.  It’s nice to hear some awesomely ferocious and nasty black metal coming out of my home state.
