Show Announced: European Influenced Black Metal Idolatry Live At DV8 For Debut Concert In Edmonton

Shortly after the release of their single ‘Clefs au Chambre de Tristêsse’, Idolatry finally play Edmonton at DV8 (8130 Gateway Blvd) on Friday, May 1st. The group is a new incarnation of experienced musicians and a cohesive image rooted in black metal from Europe. The show will also have another Edmonton staple, Dire Omen, who will be releasing their debut full-length album ‘Wrestling the Revelation of Futility’.
The doors open at 8:00 pm and the three bands will prepare to envelop the crowd into a darker version of reality with their grim lyrics and oppressive instrumentals. The full bill features Idolatry and Dire Omen (Edmonton), and Fornication (Calgary) and costs only $10 (No minors). Tickets are available through the bands and at the door the night of the show for those who are interested in this one of a kind experience.

Comprised of members from Edmonton’s finest pedigree of extreme metal with singular vision to be old Norway’s soldier in Canada’s frozen tundra of misery. Live, Idolatry is corpse painted, spiked, and manic, raiding crowds of their attention to all else….terrifying. At the pen, Idolatry is wise and ancient. Heavily steeped in philosophy and the defense of Atheistic Satanism and the expulsion of abhorrent inner turmoil.
