Versus The Nothing Release “Black Gloves” EP – Today – July 19th

They may be busy tearing up stages across Canada and the US as part of their Cannon Ball Tour, but Vancouver’s melodic rockers Versus the Nothing have just announced the release of their latest EP, Black Gloves, which is slotted to hit the airwaves and, hopefully, your iPod on July 19th.
The anthem-like tracks on Black Gloves are a follow-up to Versus the Nothing’s 2008 release, Let It All Come Down, which garnered a great reception from fans and industry members alike and saw multiple commercial placements.
“It’s so exciting to get these new tunes out that we’ve been testing on the road for what seems like forever!” commented VTN vocalist Ross Archibald.
Black Gloves was produced by Jay Evjen (Hot Hot Heat, Wide Mouth Mason) who also mixed songs “River” and “Invisible Asylum.” Meanwhile, Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Hedley, Sam Roberts) mixed the album’s official first single “Killer” and “Excuse Me.”
“Killer” can now be downloaded for free, and the EP can be ordered at the following link: http://versusthenothing.bandcamp.com

The album’s title track “Let it all Come Down” has been in regular rotation on stations across Canada since the release, as well as several U.S. stations.
In 2009 “Into You” was chosen for Tom Green’s movie released direct to video Shred or be Ridden, a major motion picture starring Tom Green.
