Third to the stage was Titans Eve ( ), a modern thrash metal band with some epic European metal sounding influences. Their new album, The Divine Equal, is due on February 1st, with possible North American and beyond tour dates to follow. This band already have a rabid fan base, with one devotee informing me “These guys are gong to play Ozzfest one day man – they’re gonna f— headline Ozzfest!” Judging  by their proficient heavy talent, you would never guess that this band has only been performing together for around three years.

“Also Saturday, Vancouver thrashers Titans Eve are offering a preview of their upcoming debut album The Divine Equal at Funky Winker Bean’s (35 West Hastings) alongside Anion, R.O.C. and Memorial. The record, which comes out Feb. 1, is a sprawling concept album about Satan’s fall from grace influenced by Milton’s Paradise Lost and The Book of Genesis. Some mighty killer riffs in there, and you can download their track Becoming The Demon for free on PureGrainAudio in the meantime. $10 at the door, show at 9 p.m.”
