Underground Realroad – Days Go By Ft. SRH (Prod. By Drex)
Montreal’s hip hop duo of Underground Realroad are letting loose their latest new track “Days Go By” featuringSRH that can be downloaded free on Bandcamp.com here. Underground Realroad (Big Bricc and Drex) are currently in studio working on their follow up to their debut release “Slave To The Game”.
BEST OF # 13 UNDERGROUND REALROAD: SLAVE TO THE GAME
This is the album that got me listening to and enjoying Rap music, once more. Montreal virtuosos Underground Realroad’s debut is a powerful testament to making music for the sake of making music. The overwhelming message these artists deliver is that the best Rap comes from the soul and not for the goal of gold records. Their sound layers 70’s R&B samples with solid, well thought and poetic rhymes, and a mastery of verbal and musical rhythm. To quote the title song, “This is for the people who know what Hip-Hop is!”
Two Shows, Two Cities – One Day! Sept 25th – Underground Realroad w/ Wiz Khalifa + Fight Against Land Mines
On September 25th, Montreal’s Underground Realroad will be hitting two stages in two cities all in one day. The duo will first ride the rails at 2:15pm in Montreal’s Phillips Square for their performance in support of Handicap International’s annual “Pyramid of Shoes”, a protest against land mines and cluster munitions. The event will be held from from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the public is urged to engage in presentations, exhibitions, and live music as the “Pyramid of Shoes” raises awareness on this important topic.
“Handicap International’s initiative holds ideals that mirror what we believe in, not only as musicians, but as people. We’re really looking forward to helping support this great cause and getting the word out there,” commented rapper Bricc.
In addition to this great charity event, Underground Realroad have been given the nod to hop on the rails and head to Ottawa, ON the same day to open for rising hip hop sensation Wiz Khalifa at Capital Music Hall.
“We’re really excited to be added to this bill and to trek from one great event that helps the community to opening up for a rising rapper like Khalifa.” comments Bricc.
